Shipwreck falmouth - Sep 16, 2021 · This week residents have the chance to see Maenporth Beach and the shipwreck of Ben Asdale in a film from 1979. A video put together by Geoff Claydon of Memory Media, it shows the shipwreck when it was around a year old. Ben Asdale was a Scottish trawler that was wrecked in December 1978 near Falmouth, Cornwall.
